Ethical Breeding

We go above the prescribed breeding standards because we truely care about the wellbeing of the breed. Our dogs are our family members and not disposable stock, we want the best for them and their puppies. To make sure mum and puppies are in great health, we only breed females in their prime, fully mature but not aged. Mums are young and healthy dogs aged between 18 months 4 years. Furthermore, to preserve the best genetic health, of course we do not permit even distant family members to interbreed. Our puppies are with their mum until they are picked up by you, no earlier than 8 weeks old. We allow organic separation as pups grow and do not lock them away from their mum any earlier. It is important to note that pedigree certificates do not insure that your puppies parents have been health tested, it simply means that their family tree can be traced several generations back. Although we breed purebred Cavaliers many of whom come from pedigree lines, we do not issue pedigree certificates, we do however health and DNA test and vet check all our parents to eliminate hereditary diseases and reduce common health problems experienced by the breed.
